College Grad Sues Her School

Apparently, Monroe College in Bronx, NY has not kept their promise to college graduate Trina Thompson. After graduation Thompson believed that the school’s career advancement program would help her find a job in her field, but that was not the case. Since graduation Thompson is unemployed and full of debt. On July 24th, Trina filed a lawsuit for the $70,000 she has spent on tuition for her school. Gary Axelbank, the school spokesman stated that "The lawsuit is completely without merit,” according to the Post. "The college prides itself on the excellent career-development support that we provide to each of our students, and this case does not deserve further consideration."

Hmmm, well all I can say is when I graduate with my BA next May I hope I can pull this off too! I got loans out the yin yang! (Well not really, but I got loans though!) Not only that but I would have revenge on my school jerking me around with my financial aid and giving me classes that don’t fit my major. I say all students should come together and do this foolery! Yea, so that way they’ll make things even harder for incoming freshman to get what they REALLY need for school. Come on now! Let’s think hard about this! She could’ve easily taken a part-time job to pay off some of her debt. Yes, we are in a recession, but we can’t use that to our advantage. Let’s get focused young America!!

Drizzy Drake Takes A Great Fall!

Everybody has been going crazy about Young Money rap artist Drake falling on stage at the America's Most Wanted tour headlined by rap artist Lil Wayne. If you haven't seen it for yourself check the video out here...



Poor Drake, this guy just can't get a break! From a video that had bad reviews to him tearing his ACL, and then hurting his knee on stage, its just constant turmoil for the guy. I pray that everything gets better with Drake, we look forward to seeing more of him in the hip hop world!

Aww Poor Marbury

So I signed onto twitter and everybody is tweeting about Stephon Marbury's public emotional break down on his live broadcast. Check it out here...





My thoughts after watchin the video were that I would like to have known what was going on rather than drawing up my own conclusions as to why Marbury was crying. We all go through things that make us break down, but he just left us in the dark. My second thought was who was that suspect guy in the background singing but not showing his face in the camera? Lastly, who was the person that put this video on youtube from Marbury's live broadcast? Whoever they are, someone please send them to me, so they can give me the back drop as to why Marbury had this breakdown. You know people like to ONLY give you half of a story, but I need more. Hopefully, Stephon is doing better since then and he gives us a brief explanation as to what's going on with him.

Chris Brown Gives Public Apology

NOW THAT WE HAVE HEARD HIS APOLOGY...WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? WELP! I FEEL THAT THE ISSUE HAS HAPPENED ALREADY, WE CAN'T CHANGE THE PAST! PLUS, BOTH RHIANNA AND CHRIS HAVE MOVED ON WITH THEIR LIVES & CAREERS! I FEEL THAT WE SHOULD DO THE SAME! OH! HOPEFULLY WE GET A PSA FROM RHIANNA OR WE SEE HER CREATE A FOUNDATION FOR YOUNG BATTERED WOMEN..IT'S SOMETHING TO INVEST IN, RIGHT? I PRAY THAT THEY BOTH LEARN FROM THIS AND THAT OTHERS IN THIS SITUATION LEARN FROM IT AS WELL! WE ARE ONLY HUMAN BEINGS & ONLY OUR CREATOR CAN MAKE ANY JUDGEMENTS, SO LET'S FORGIVE & MOVE ON!

IF CHRIS' APOLOGY WAS SINCERE OR NOT, ATLEAST HE APOLOGIZED. SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE HAS SAID "IT'S BETTER TO BE SILENT & SPEAK WHEN NECESSARY, THAN TO BABBLE LIKE A FOOL!" WHO KNOWS WHAT WOULD'VE CAME OUT OF CHRIS BROWN'S MOUTH IF HE TRULY SPOKE FROM HIS HEART. NOT ONLY IS HE PROTECTING HIS CAREER BUT HE'S PROTECTING RHIANNA'S CAREER AS WELL. & MAYBE WE CAN LEARN FROM CHRIS' LESSON, WHICH IS TO CONTROL OUR ACTIONS & THINK BEFORE WE SPEAK. LET'S NOT ALLOW OUR EMOTIONS TO OUTWEIGH OUR INTELLIGENCE PEOPLE...WE MAY END UP JUST LIKE CHRIS & RHIANNA....THAT'S MY TWO CENTS ON THIS STORY...I PRAY THAT I DON'T HAVE TO SPEAK UPON IT AGAIN...
